Music for Younger Groups

Imagine an ancient time, when earth was moving along fault lines,  causing volcanoes to spew. A calm moment followed by impressive chaos.  Enormous movement of land and magma, creating more land. At its end, the  day turns to night, dusk settles, and there is another calm, leaving  behind it obsidian — a glasslike volcanic rock formed by the rapid  cooling of lava.

Imagine tectonic plates — the gigantic pieces of the Earth's crust and  uppermost mantle — shifting and moving around; a new landmass being born  for the first time. Shaking of the soil making layers of hills,  mountains, valleys. All aluminous — or filled with aluminum — and with  other minerals, metals, or rocks once inside the Earth. The dawn begins,  as does the new life of this land and all it brings forth.
